Welcome to Vibe Tribe Fitness!

We have dreamed about creating a personal training experience that empowers others to invest in themselves, and build their confidence through pain-free strength training.

Vibe Tribe Fitness is solely women owned and operated.

Being in the fitness industry, we have learned a couple important things. First, there is a big need for more women to take up space in strength based performance sports such as powerlifting and weightlifting. We have talked to so many people, especially women, who are interested in learning how to confidently work with a barbell, or simply to get stronger in order to play with their kids, but are intimidated by the typical layouts and energies of large gyms.

Vibe Tribe Fitness is dedicated to filling this gap. We provide a safe and judgement free environment for anyone to start or level up their strength training.

Second, we realized there is a need for more pain-free focused personal trainers. We specialize in pain-free strength training. We believe that a good quality of life largely depends on moving without the aches that prevent so many from moving more within their day. Our number one priority at Vibe Tribe is to provide you with the right stretches, exercises, and optimal movement patterns to help you move freely in your daily life, in addition to getting strong in the gym.

Whether you’re a competitive powerlifter, weightlifter, or just getting started, this is the place for you!

MEET THE TRAINERS

Bergen Buck

I’m the founder and co-owner of Vibe Tribe Fitness strength gym. I’ve been a personal trainer for 5 years and started Vibe Tribe back in 2017, contracting out of other gyms, building my clientele, and training as a competitive powerlifter.

I am originally from Bozeman, MT and moved out to Seattle 5 years ago to embark on a new journey. I graduated Montana State University with my Bachelors in Kinesiology having spent four years as a collegiate athlete. During my high school years, fitness began to shift my life. It became my outlet to grow, heal, challenge myself, and a foundation that ultimately built my personal training business.

After graduating University, it took me about a year to see that working in box gyms and for other people was not for me. I wanted to do things differently. I had a bigger vision for my future that couldn't be contained inside a box. My desire to help others was far greater.

I had no idea it would grow to this extent. Owning a gym has been a dream come true and I feel an immense responsibility to be a strong voice for women in strength. It’s important to me to lead by example, and inspire anyone looking to get into strength training and change their life for the better.

Morgan Barton

Morgan is the founder of Morgan Barton Fitness and co-owner of Vibe Tribe Fitness strength gym. She is a NASM-Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Pre & Post Natal Personal Trainer, with a background in athletics, a degree in international business and economics, and experience in physical therapy. She holds the Washington State Junior Deadlift Record in Powerlifting, and is now competitive in Olympic Weightlifting.

She is passionate about getting a barbell in everyone's hand, especially women, and help build their confidence along with their strength and health goals.

Morgan's ability to breakdown big movements into small and understandable steps that anyone can grasp is truly a unique skill. Her knowledge and understanding of the body allows her to help each client through pain-free movement.

Her expertise in pain management, movement discrepancies, and pre/post natal training is an invaluable skill set that not many possess.

Courtnee Butler

Meet our new VIRTUAL COACH, Courtnee!

Courtnee has spent her entire life being interested in health, fitness, and athletic performance. She started going to the gym with her dad and watching him do aerobics classes when she was 5 or 6, played every sport she could growing up, and started athletic performance training when she was 14. It was at that time that she decided she wanted a profession in athletic performance and health and fitness. 

She then spent the next 20 years honing in on that goal, completing a Master’s in Exercise Physiology in 2012. She has spent the last 12 years living that dream, acquiring numerous certifications (SCCC, USA-Level 1, FMS, FRC), and working as an Athletic Performance Coach at the Division 1 level. Through her time as an Athletic Performance Coach she has been able to work with the nation’s and world’s best, working with NCAA Champions and Olympians. Her current role as an Athletic Performance Coach at a major Division 1 University allows her to continue that work and to help develop numerous other athletes to participate at the highest levels of collegiate athletics. 

Courtnee’s greatest joy comes from the success of others, whether that’s breaking a world record, winning an NCAA title, getting a personal best in their event, or even something as simple as mastering a push up. Coaching and building meaningful relationships with others to help them achieve their athletic performance, fitness goals, and see them succeed in other areas of their life is what keeps her in this profession.
